The first G-Files coins appeared in 2008, with several different versions appearing over the years. This version combines a satin gold finish with the "10 Years" colour scheme (using the four geocaching colours) that was developed in 2010 and used with several other finishes.
The front of this coin shows the Geocaching "G" in the style of the X-Files logo, with a shadowy blow-up of the G's center in the background. The back tells what every geocacher knows: "The Tupperware Is Out There". Both the G center on the front and the lettering on the back are done in glow enamel.
So far 50 trackable coins have been minted in this finish, and the total number will be limited to 75.
